Gerald Boland Memorial Scholarship

When we asked our Mom if she had any special requests or wishes after her passing, she quickly answered by saying that if anyone would like to make a donation in her memory, she would love for it to go to the Gerald Boland Memorial Scholarship in honor of our Dad.

Gerald Boland was a teacher in the Lyons Schools from 1959 until his retirement in 1989.  He taught over 700 students in that time.  Our Dad lost his life during the 2013 Lyons Flood and his scholarship was created in the Spring of 2014.  The Gerald Boland Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a graduating Lyons High School Senior who shares our Dad's love of the Lyons Community, leadership and giving back to others.

This scholarship is managed by the St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation (SVVSEF), and your donation through Colorado Gives will go directly to the Gerald Boland Memorial Scholarship fund.
