Dancing for a Difference: Briella Duckett

Briella has been dancing at Dual Star Academy of Dance for the past couple of years, growing not only as a dancer but as a young woman surrounded by encouragement, discipline, and heart. This season is especially meaningful, as it marks her first year dancing on Company.

Each year, Dual Star Company presents Dance for A Difference, a benefit performance where dancers take the stage to support a local nonprofit. This year, the Company is honored to partner with Judi’s House, a Denver-based organization that supports children and families navigating the loss of a loved one.

Judi’s House provides grief counseling, resources, and support at no cost to families. Through direct services, training, and research, they help children adjust to loss and build the tools they need to face future challenges. Their vision is simple and powerful: no child should be alone in grief.

This performance brings dancers together to use the power of movement to create real impact. Every routine is performed with intention, compassion, and purpose, turning dance into a meaningful way to give back.

We are incredibly proud of Briella and her teammates for stepping onto the stage not just as performers, but as advocates for children and families in our community. Thank you for supporting her journey and for helping make a difference through dance.
