Run for Refugees with me!

Join me in fundraising on behalf of the African Community Center (ACC) as we prepare to Run for Refugees for the third year! ACC and our refugee community members need our support now more than ever - help us make an impact!

By supporting refugees, you will help make our community safer and stronger for everyone.

Whether they are colleagues or neighbors, friends or family members, teachers or students: refugees are fundamental members of our community who immensely contribute to the well-being and functionality of society. However, they are at risk. 

Now more than ever, it is crucial that we stand up for those fleeing war, persecution, and violence. The suspension of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) has already caused harm to thousands of vulnerable individuals, including children, denying them the safe refuge they desperately need.

ACC and I, Olivia, need your help to continue providing critical services to our refugee and immigrant community members.

Your donation will help provide ACC with the ability to continue services such as housing coordination, healthcare navigation, driving school for refugee women, job club and help creating resumes and interview skills, school enrollment, public benefits management, enrollment in English language acquisition programs* (*including the ones that I work for!), and many other social economic programs that help refugees and immigrants rebuild safe and sustainable lives in Denver. Again, by supporting refugees, you will help make our community safer and stronger for everyone.
