On February 5, 2013 our family was given devastating news. We were told that our little miracle baby, a mere 22 weeks along in pregnancy, would more than likely not survive due to complications with low amniotic fluid and ARPKD.
It was a short time later that we were introduced to Lizzy Yates, a photographer, for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.
Without hesitation this organizations photographer gave up a Saturday to spend with our family capturing fun maternity photos and making memories of our Sophia the Strong's life.
On May 15, 2013 at 11:21 am our little Sophia was born and her lungs were not developed enough to support her tiny body.
Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep's, Lizzy Yates, came to the hospital to caption every second of our life with her. She spent roughly 6 hours with our family ensuring not one moment of Sophia's short life was missed. It was at 5:15 that our little fighter went to be with the lord.
Because of this wonderful origination our family will have memoires that last a life time.
In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made in our daughters honor to this wonderful non profit organization that provides the gift of remembrance photography for parents suffering the loss of a baby.
