This year, we’re excited to bring our EMS community together to celebrate our amazing school and all the wonderful opportunities ahead for our students! We invite our families, friends, and community members to join us in supporting our EMS Fall Fundraiser Week of Giving. Every contribution helps make a positive impact for our students, teachers, and school community—and together, we can make this a fantastic year for everyone!

With PTA school funds especially limited right now, every donation can make a meaningful difference in providing our students and staff with the resources, opportunities, and support they need to succeed.

Together, we can help strengthen our school community, support our students and staff, and ensure that our students continue to have the experiences and opportunities they deserve.

EMS' Week of Giving will take place 

Monday, September 28, 2026, through Monday, October 5, 2026.

What is the money raised used for?

 Safety/Security- Building upgrades and improvements that help ensure our school remains a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all students and staff.

Instructional Technology- Technology and digital resources that support teachers in creating engaging, effective learning experiences, including classroom devices, educational software, digital curriculum resources, and tools that enhance instruction and meet the diverse needs of our students.

Mission Vision - Operational costs support professional development, building enhancements beyond safety and security, and enriching student experiences, including guest artists, field trips, and special programs that benefit all students. The PTA helps fund these expenses because Mr. V. allocates as much of the school’s state and federal funding as possible toward teacher and staff salaries, ensuring our students have access to the best and most qualified educators. PTA fundraising helps bridge the gap between the district-provided budget and the additional resources our students and teachers need to thrive each year.

We have BIG goals for funding raised this 2026-27 year:

Safety/Security-

• 3 interior cameras directed at our three main stairwells. These are currently black out zones in our school.
• Vape detectors.
• Funds to make our elevator secure (like our entrances) so that it requires secure entry.

Instructional Technology-

• Strategic updates and refresh of the previously PTA purchased MAC lab. 
• Strategic updates and upgrades of the previously purchased MIMIO boards (as part of the remodel). 
• CRICUT machine for in-house ability to make custom projects. 
• Strategic updates and upgrades of the previously purchased 3D printer boards.
• Purchase of 4 large TV screens to be used as communication devices in parry parts of our building. 
• The (required) replacement of 10 teacher computers over the next two years of 10 teacher computers. Plus 7 office-based computers (desktops) that are required for their workflow. 

Mission Vision and KID FUN –

• Student program opportunities (Shakespeare in the parking lot, national touring assemblies, local experiential learning opportunities). 
• Funding of guest artists (muralists) to recapture interior art lost during the remodel. 
• Purchase of exterior art done via the Evergreen Sculpture Walk.
• Maintenance of the grant funded Mountain Bike program/equipment (all grant funds have been used).
• Exterior upgrades to the previously purchased outdoor planters (something more permanent/deer proof).
• Funds towards exterior landscape projects that are required by the school-based budget. 

And-

• Installation of 3-4 electric vehicle chargers on campus. 
• Additional bike racks in front of school.

* It is EMS tradition that we also support students in our Jeffco community who do not have access to education in the same way that our students do. The EMS PTA will be making a $2000 donation in the form of gift cards to the title one department at Jeffco on behalf of our school. Over the last five years we have generously donated $5000 in this campaign.
