Mission

Our mission at Azteca Boxing/The Mexica Center is to mentor people today to build a stronger community tomorrow.

Background Statement

The Mexica Center is a Greeley-based nonprofit dedicated to building strong young men and women today for a stronger community tomorrow. Through our boxing program, youth gain more than athletic training—they gain mentorship, accountability, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Many of the young people we serve come from low-income and underserved communities where access to organized sports can be limited. By providing scholarships, equipment, coaching, and positive role models, we help youth develop the discipline and resilience needed to succeed in the classroom, in competition, and in life. Our goal is not simply to create better athletes, but to help young people discover their potential and build a different future for themselves and their families.
