Showupforgood

Background Statement

Showupforgood began as an idea with a simple mission: to put more good into the world. We began by creating, highlighting, and sharing opportunities to show up for good through small, easy ways such as being kind and helpful to others, spreading smiles, and sharing good thoughts and ideas. In the early days it was easy to communicate the idea of showing up for good, as our mission is built right into our name. The very idea of showing up for good seems to resonate with people, and encourages the simple act of spreading goodness. We created a campaign to share and wear hearts as a symbol of kindness and love. And then, as we grew and observed the need for better communication and connection in a divided world, we began to explore more in-depth ways of spreading good.

Currently we are building projects that create intentional, enjoyable, and inspirational human connection. We believe communication is our superpower, so we are exploring new ways of communicating with each other. We build unique experiences that bring people together, and we curate events that encourage community, innovative thinking, broader perspective, and new ways of expressing ourselves in small and big ways. Our projects are meaningful because we literally show up for each other and create community. Our mission to put more good into the world encourages us to explore, experiment, and develop breakthroughs that will spread goodness far and wide.
