The Arvada Veggie Van brings tasty, high-quality fresh produce directly to priority food desert neighborhoods in our community -- and we do that by sourcing from local and regional growers and vendors to the greatest extent possible. Part of our mission is to make this delicious, nutrition-dense food accessible to all by offering low-cost, easy-to-prepare recipe kits with all ingredients included; having a chef/nutritionist aboard to offer advice and encouragement; and hosting numerous free classes, demonstrations and pop-up pantries throughout the year.

Mission
Our mission is to help people who want to eat well and be healthier. We do this by bringing high-quality produce, recipe kits and nutrition know-how to areas where a lack of fresh food options, cost of living and other challenges make it harder for folks to eat as healthily as they could. The second part of our mission is to support local and regional growers and farmers by sourcing from them wherever possible.
Background Statement
Ride Provide, Inc. was founded in 2003 as a provider of public transit in partnership with RTD. A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Ride Provide now operates as the Arvada Veggie Van, serving priority Arvada neighborhoods since 2017. 2026 will be our tenth season.
