Our mission is to help women navigate through both planned and unplanned pregnancies, empowering them and their partners to confidently explore their options and make informed choices regarding their pregnancy.
The Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) of Glenwood Springs has proudly been serving the Western Slope of Colorado with their pregnancy-related needs since 1985. The Pregnancy Resource Center's original name was Valley Crisis Pregnancy Center which was located in Aspen for it's first 10 years. The PRC opened an additional Center in Rifle from 2009-2018. In October of 2021, we purchased a mobile medical unit and have been able to service clients in various locations including Rifle, Basalt and beyond. We serve hundreds of clients annually accommodating nearly 1400 visits at our Center and our mobile medical unit. In the most recent 12 months alone, 63 of our clients were considering abortion. After receiving counseling, seeing their baby on ultrasound screen, and hearing the heartbeat, 84% of these mothers chose to carry their child to term.
