Journey into Creation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a singular mission: serving the Word of God to children during their times of greatest need. Through custom-built immersive digital and virtual reality experiences rooted in Scripture, we bring hope, wonder, and spiritual peace to children in hospitals, juvenile detention centers, and orphanages around the world.

A Mission Born From Personal Loss

Journey into Creation was founded by Noel DiLapo following a deeply personal experience of loss and spiritual renewal. When Noel encountered the devastating reality that hundreds of thousands of children spend months or years isolated from the beauty of God's creation, he knew he could not look away. That encounter became an undeniable calling, and that calling became Journey into Creation.

The organization operates at the intersection of faith, technology, and compassionate care. Every experience we build is designed to answer one question: what if every child, no matter where they are, could encounter the wonder and peace of God's creation?

Three Programs. One Mission.

Journey into Creation organizes its work into three distinct program verticals, each serving a unique population of vulnerable children. Together, they represent the full scope of our mission to reach every child in every context of need.

• Healing Journeys serves children in pediatric long-term care settings, delivering spiritual care and immersive wonder directly to children who cannot leave their hospital rooms.

• Restoration Journeys reaches youth in the juvenile justice system, meeting incarcerated young people with the light of Scripture in some of the darkest places imaginable.

• Belonging Journeys provides identity and belonging experiences for children in foster care and orphanages, showing every child they are known, loved, and fearfully made.

How the Technology Works

Each Journey is a custom-built VR or digital experience designed from the ground up in collaboration with chaplains, child psychologists, and Scripture scholars. Children can swim alongside dolphins in crystal clear oceans, soar with eagles over majestic mountain peaks, explore the cosmos, and encounter God's creation in ways that were previously impossible for children confined to a bed or a cell.

These are not entertainment products. They are pastoral tools. Every Journey is carefully woven with Scripture, prayer, and theological intentionality. Chaplains and caregivers use the experiences as a bridge to deeper spiritual conversations, creating moments of openness that traditional ministry alone cannot always reach.
