Every child and young person deserves the chance to succeed in school, build a meaningful career, and achieve economic mobility. No single school, employer, or program can make that happen alone.

Rocky Mountain Partnership Cradle to Career™ (RMP) is the backbone organization for a partnership of school districts, employers, colleges, public agencies, community organizations, and young people across Adams County, Arvada, Aurora, and the City and County of Broomfield. We don’t replace the programs already doing the work. We help them work better together, measure what’s changing, and move policy and investment toward what gets results.

Our 2030 Strategic Plan, The Resiliency Project, sets one shared goal: 71,142 more children and young people, up to age 35, reaching critical Cradle to Career milestones by 2030. Those are milestones like graduating on time or earning a credential that leads to a good job.

How the partnership works

Too often, schools, employers, and community programs work toward the same young people’s futures without a shared plan or shared data. RMP connects partners, aligns resources, uses shared data to see what’s working, and keeps the partnership accountable for measurable progress.

• Back partners committed to results. We call these partners Target Champions. They set specific, measurable goals for how many more young people they’ll help reach a milestone. RMP backs them with shared data, coaching, and a steady practice of testing what works and adjusting.
• Tackle the biggest barriers together. These are our Big Bets: coordinated initiatives that take on problems no single organization can solve alone. Right now that means better education and career guidance, more career pathways, and more work-based learning.
• Change policy, with young people leading. Under Policy and Civic Leadership, we use data and community input to improve policies and systems. Young people in our Civic Influencer Fellowship help lead that work.
• Build what lasts. Our shared infrastructure strengthens the relationships, data systems, and coordination needed to sustain measurable progress over time.

Through the Cradle to Career™ Colorado Collective, we bring this approach statewide, connecting communities around shared goals, measurement, policy priorities, and economic mobility.
