Details: Every $1 will be matched up to $50,000 to support our right to freely plan our families (when, how many or whether to have children) by removing barriers for women to access -- and medical professionals to provide -- low cost and highly effective birth control methods and family planning services.

Summary

I am thankful for birth control because I avoided unintended pregnancy and achieved my educational, career and family goals.

We have achieved great success in Colorado - 54% drop in teen births, 63% decrease in abortions and $66M+ in avoided public health related costs!

Unfortunately our tremendous progress is at risk due to rollbacks at the federal level which jeopardize our ability to freely plan our families (when, whether or how many children) by restricting access to affordable family planning services.

Global Health Foundation will make investments from our pooled funds to support:

1. Technology: to link Coloradans to reproductive health resources and to connect them with desired healthcare services.

2. Supply: to equip healthcare facilities with affordable and long-acting reversible contraception (LARC): IUDs and implants.

3. Training: to ensure medical professionals can counsel and provide IUDs and implants.

4. Transportation: to eliminate geographic proximity as a barrier to access services.
